GIS Virtual was proud to help a client bring his vision to a virtual reality. This classic 1928 Mack Tanker truck had a long history. It has been featured in Hollywoood films and TV shows, it actually served as a tanker to transport oil and water in different lifetimes. Our client had a vision to transform it into a mobile bar to serve county fairs, large amphitheater outdoor concerts and campgrounds. It will drive around the Arizona, Nevada, and California regions and will be rented for special events.
3D designers at GIS Virtual utilized hand drawn sketches and photos of the actual truck to render a photo-realistic view of the future mobile bar. We did not require any architectural drawings or engineering studies. All that was necessary to us is the client’s vision. First a wire-frame model was designed in 3d Studio Max, then new attributes were added per client’s instructions, and then the vision was rendered. We went though a couple of iterations to get to where the client was happy.
The truck will feature a pop-up door of the barrel, a counter top with a beer taps, ice holders and any accessories necessary for a real bar.
